Live Culture & Stage Archives
Documenting the kinetic energy of live performance requires presence and technical discipline in uncontrolled light. Based in Asheville, North Carolina, my stage and festival coverage captures the raw exchange between performer, space, and audience. Operating across historic venues and regional festival grounds—including direct stage coverage at The Orange Peel and multiday cultural archives at the North Carolina Folk Festival—the focus remains on atmospheric truth rather than staged perfection.
Technical execution relies on low-noise, high-frame-rate digital bodies paired with fast primes, balanced alongside tactile analog 35mm captures when temporal grain serves the artist's identity. From high-BPM club environments and bass culture to layered ensemble arrangements, each archive delivers complete editorial recaps, promotional press packages, and immediate delivery for touring acts and event producers.
Selected stage credits: Renegade El Rey, The Roots, Marley Carroll, and regional festival productions across Western North Carolina.
